Manufacturers always recommend time frames at which their customers should bring their vehicles in for servicing. This is because manufacturers understand everything about the vehicles they develop and want to prevent their vehicles from experiencing any failures and leaving their customers stranded. You can find the service schedule recommendations for your specific model in the owner’s manual of your vehicle. However, Mopar offers a common service schedule for customers to follow.
It is recommended that customers initially bring their vehicles in for servicing once they reach 7,500 miles. During the 7,500 mile service, our technicians will replace your vehicle’s engine air filter, cabin air filter, and inspect the vehicle for any extensive wear. While excessive wear is not expected on a vehicle that has reached 7,500 miles, it happens, and our technicians will be there to catch any signs of it. If we determine that any other parts need to be changed, we will offer you the service.
The Mopar 30,000 mile service is slightly more involved than the service you will have done at 7,500 miles. During the 30,000 mile service, our technicians will change the air filter in your engine again in addition to the oil that runs through your engine. During the oil change, our technicians will also change the old oil filter with a new oil filter. We will also perform another inspection on the vehicle, with more emphasis being placed on examining the CV joint of your vehicle’s driveshaft.
The 60,000-mile service shares many of the same replacements as the 30,000-mile service. The cabin air filter, engine air filter, oil, and oil filter will all be changed during the service. Additionally, we will inspect and change the spark plugs in your engine if they need to be changed. We will also rotate your tires to increase their longevity.
If they weren’t changed during earlier services, we will change your spark plugs during the 100,000-mile service. In Addition to your engine oil, we will also replace the coolant, transmission fluid, and brake fluid that run through your vehicle’s systems.
